RadDream vs MedDream
Two web DICOM viewers. One you license and integrate, one that arrives with AI, reporting and radiologists already in it.

TL;DR
MedDream (MedDream, UAB, Lithuania) is a certified, white-label HTML5 DICOM viewer that vendors, OEMs and hospitals license and integrate; per its product page it is FDA cleared for diagnostic use and CE Class IIb certified. RadDream (5C Network, India) is the browser-based viewer inside 5C's platform, with Bionic AI findings on the image, the report editor one click away, and MPR, curved MPR, 3D and PET-CT fusion.
Choose MedDream to embed a certified viewer in your own product. Choose RadDream if you want the viewer, the AI and the reporting as one system: it is the viewer for every study 5C's 400+ specialist radiologists read.

The key difference
MedDream is a viewer. It shows images brilliantly and leaves the AI, the reporting and the radiologists to other systems you connect. RadDream is a reading room. The AI has already looked at the study, the draft is beside the image, and the radiologist signs in the same screen.

Why one adds steps and the other removes them
MedDream is built to be integrated. Its strength is breadth: a certified viewer that a PACS vendor, an EHR or a portal can embed by URL or API, rebrand as its own and run on its own servers, across specialties from cardiology to dentistry. AI arrives the same way, as algorithms from other vendors plugged into the viewer.
RadDream is built to be read in. 5C's engineers wrote it for one job: helping a radiologist get through a study, then the next, fast. Bionic AI has pre-read the study before it opens, its findings sit on the image, the draft impression is beside it and the report editor is one click away. Advanced tools (MPR, curved MPR, 3D and PET-CT fusion) are in the same browser tab.
If you are building a product, you want MedDream's integration surface. If you are running a reading room, you want fewer windows, fewer vendors and fewer seconds per study. That is what RadDream is for. For the archive side of the decision, see 5C SuperPACS and our guide to the best PACS software in India.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between RadDream and MedDream?
Both are browser-based DICOM viewers with nothing to install. MedDream, made by MedDream, UAB in Lithuania, is a certified, white-label viewer that software vendors, OEMs and hospitals license and integrate into their own PACS, RIS or portal. RadDream, made by 5C Network in India, is the viewer inside 5C's platform: Bionic AI findings sit on the image, the report editor is one click away, and 400+ specialist radiologists read in it every day. MedDream is a viewer you integrate; RadDream arrives with the AI, the reporting and the radiologists already in it.
Is RadDream a good MedDream alternative?
For hospitals and diagnostic centers that want AI and reporting in the same screen as the images, yes. RadDream comes with 5C's platform, so there is no separate AI vendor or viewer integration to manage. If you are a software vendor or OEM that needs a white-label viewer to embed in your own product, MedDream is built for that and RadDream is not.
Which viewer has AI built in?
RadDream. Bionic AI, 5C's clinical AI engine, shows its findings on the image and drafts an impression beside it; on chest X-rays it covers 74 pathologies with a 0.93 F1 score in peer-reviewed research. MedDream describes itself as "AI & CAD ready", meaning it integrates AI algorithms from other vendors.
Do RadDream and MedDream support MPR, 3D and fusion?
RadDream includes MPR, curved MPR, 3D volume rendering, MIP and PET-CT fusion in the browser. MedDream's product page lists MPR, MIP and 3D reconstruction, plus segmentation tools.
Which is faster, RadDream or MedDream?
RadDream is engineered for speed first, because 5C's radiologists read thousands of studies a day in it and feel every second. MedDream highlights client-side rendering that keeps server load flat with many users. The fair test is your own studies on your own network: book a RadDream demo and open the same studies side by side.
Is MedDream FDA cleared? Is RadDream?
Per its product page, MedDream is FDA cleared for diagnostic use, including mammographic images, and CE Class IIb certified. RadDream is the viewer within 5C's platform, where Bionic AI and the Prodigi RIS are licensed by CDSCO as Class B medical devices in India and every report is reviewed and signed by a radiologist. Ask us for the documentation that applies to your use case.
Can I buy RadDream on its own or white-label it?
RadDream comes with 5C's platform, for hospitals and diagnostic centers reporting with 5C or running 5C SuperPACS. It is not offered as a white-label viewer. Talk to us about your setup.
